Early County Literacy Task Force, the nonprofit side of Early County Family Connection, was named “Rookie of the Year” on Aug. 6, 2026, at the Georgia SNAP-Ed statewide convening in Atlanta. Erin Lee, executive director, and Sheena Summerset, early childhood coordinator, were present to accept the award.
SNAP-Ed (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education) has been a key component of Early County Family Connection’s work to increase positive, healthy choices among families, particularly those with young children.
